After all, the waste valve from various working conditions had experienced corrosion by various medium, eroding by various fluids and being affected by different temperature conditions, which the parts, including the valve body, were damaged to varying degrees and on different positions and resulted in valve functions decreased and even failures. However, the out-of-service waste valves are not absolutely no value in use and repair, and even to restore to operating conditions, as long as knowledge of metal structure principle, dynamics, fluidics, anticorrosion, welding, heat treatment principle etc.  fields are utilized, and set up essential repair equipment and establish experienced professional team, it is fully possible to carry out deep degree, high range and quality repair and reconditioning service to waste valves.

1. Fitness of VALVES plate and valve body is the key factor to judge the success of valve repair due to the unique slant angle sealing design of wedge gate valve. Learning from the picture, the seal surface of the valve body and valve plate of the wedge gate valve (DN250mm, PN64, stainless steel) damaged greatly;

Both the sealsurfaces of the wedge plate and valve body need bead welding, and bead welding shall be conducted by suitable model stainless steel electrode by consideration of the operating environment, pressure rating, temperature, medium etc. of the valve;3. By using of ReTop valve repair and grinding machine, and the accessory universal working kit, slant block tools, grinding and fine grinding repair operations were conducted to the wedge plate of the wedge gate valve. And the surface roughness of the wedge plate could reach 0.4;

4. By using of the grinding machine and slant block, flat grinding head, chamfer grinding head, grinding and Seal surface of the valve body after repair;

5.The seal surfaces fitness of the valve body and wedge plate after repair reaching 100%, and there is no leakage after pressure test inspection with 30% higher than the original pressure level. It could put into production line for service again after painting.
