Boiler Non-Return Valve
Boiler non-return valve (also referedto as a Stop Check valve) is a check valve that can be closed. This valve has a disc and stem but the stem is not fastened to the disc. When desired the stem can be turned down to shut off flow. But when the stem is retruned to the open position the disc will not come with it unless there is pressure under the disc.
In many boiler application this the valve is an angle globe type and is positioned on top of the boiler in the outlet line.
12" tall x 8" wide, I need two pressure "top release" pressure relief valves. It has to relif from the top. We would prefer a square type valve with a flap with a round pipe top discharge. No wat to discharge from the side and then pipe up, we have to have a top discharge. This valve has to release at 5 psi, water & air. I would sure take any advise anyone could give me or direct me to a manufature that may have one on the market.
