For granular media, select knife gate valves or wear-resistant seating surfaces. High-temperature applications require heat-resistant materials and thermal clearance. Frequent cycling calls for electric or pneumatic actuation.
Establish routine inspections to track torque trends, external leakage, and cycle counts, enabling predictive maintenance.
