SERIES 771 OS&Y & SERIES 772 NRS resilient-wedge, grooved-end GATE VALVES are newly developed. Compared to traditional gate designs, they are reportedly lighter plus offer easier installation.

UL Listed and FM approved for service to 200 psi, the new gate valves come in 2 1/2 through 12-in. sizes. They feature IPS ends and a PDD Positive Displacement Disk that provides bubbletight sealing with minimal torque.

Low-torque sealing and a self-centering disc are said to virtually eliminate stem bending -- a common problem with conventional wedge-type gate designs.

PDD is rubber-encapsulated to provide true compression sealing along with reduction in scrubbing, wear, and jamming common to resilient-wedge gate valves.
