What is the difference between API 607 4th and 5th edition? We would like to do the fire test on the new valve.
There are two major difference
1. there are high pressure test(75% working pressre) and low pressure test
2. after cooling down.Close the downstream valve.Open the test valve. then measure the external leakage.
Sometimes it's fail because the test valve can't open. 
About fire testing of gate valves is it true that ISO 10497 has been adopted by API as the 5th edition of API 607?
Is it therefore the same to have the first or the second one?
Any important differences in respect to the relevant previous editions of both standards?
